About the role
- Review requests for proposals to identify and assist the proposal team in developing compliant cost estimates
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cost estimates using standardized templates, cost models, and estimating methodologies
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and establish estimating assumptions, rationale, and the overall Basis of Estimate (BOE) to support FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposals
- Build and maintain estimating databases, historical cost libraries and cost-learning curves
- Provide support for all cost and price reviews, prepare relevant documentation for contract negotiations, and ensure full compliance during internal and external audits
- Ensure cost estimates comply with RFP specifications, company policies, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements, including CAS, FAR, and DFAR
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Supply Chain, or related field
- 8+ years directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
