About the role
- Contribute to the Advanced Concepts team in identifying and developing innovative technologies relevant to our Naval Electronics' customers
- Coordinate research and development activities, fostering collaboration between departments, external partners, and end-users
- Drive the conceptualization and prototyping of advanced technologies, ensuring projects align with the company's strategic goals
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new concepts and technologies
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring milestones are met
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the Advanced Concepts team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master’s and/or PhD degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in maritime technology, defense and aerospace, or other related field
- Strong understanding of deploying naval defense technologies and systems to the market
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of adaptability
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
