• Own and maintain the Xilinx Vivado + Yocto project(s) end-to-end

Payroll

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and payroll regulations
• Oversee payroll tax filings, payments, and reporting (e.g., W-2s, 941s, and other statutory filings)
• Stay current on changes in tax legislation and payroll compliance requirements
• Own payroll month-end close, including payroll journal entries and payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations

• Combine long-term tool development with rapid, short-term problem solving to ensure LeoLabs systems deliver high-quality orbital states for all objects in LEO, accurate measurements for high-priority targets, and timely analysis of high-interest orbital events.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve algorithms and workflows supporting manual Orbit Determination (OD), including radar tasking, measurement association, filter tuning, and validation of tracking data.
• Monitor and maintain orbit quality across the LEO catalog using internal tools and custom Python scripts.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to maintain catalog orbit quality and respond to time-sensitive, anomalous, or high-impact events.
• Design, scale, and automate operational support tools to enable reliable real-time operations on large datasets and reduce manual effort.
• Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to quantitatively measure system performance and the impact of operational and algorithmic improvements.
