Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and support Windows and Linux systems and applications in an infrastructure management environment
Build, configure, optimize, patch, maintain, and secure Windows and Linux systems
Apply security fixes and remediation plans
Document procedures, diagram systems, and maintain configuration and operational records
Respond to alerts and incidents through the ticketing system
Administer and support Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, and SharePoint
Administer enterprise Linux distributions including Red Hat, Rocky, and Ubuntu
Manage Linux system services, performance tuning, patching, log analysis, storage, and filesystems
Support applications hosted on Linux platforms and learn applications running on Windows and Linux
Support SolarWinds Orion, Password Manager Pro, AD Manager, AD Audit, and Linux-hosted monitoring, automation, or infrastructure services
Share responsibility for overall infrastructure functionality and adapt duties as the environment evolves

What you’ll need

Advanced Windows Server administration skills with certification and 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of equivalent relevant work experience
Strong Linux system administration experience, including command-line troubleshooting, service management, patching, and security hardening in production environments
Experience supporting Microsoft SQL, including clustered environments, Exchange email systems, or SharePoint
Solid troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support skills across mixed operating-system environments
Fluent spoken and written English
