About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist Interior Designers with all aspects of project execution, including conceptual design, space planning, material selection, and procurement
Assist with CAD drafting and space planning tasks under the guidance of senior designers and/or managers
Maintain material library, organizing samples, catalogs, and resources for easy access and reference by the design team
Communicate with vendors on custom order quotes and lead times and assist designers with sourcing and procurement efforts as needed
Prepare and maintain project documentation including POs, meeting notes and agendas, presentations, and follow up materials as needed
Attend Model installations as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Arts degree preferred
1-3 years Interior Design or related experience
Proficient in CAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint on Macintosh platform
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude
Excellent work ethic, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Copes well under pressure and can accept constructive feedback
California Motor Vehicle License – unrestricted
Moderate regional travel (including overnight trips and flights) required
