About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervises and directs all aspects of entitlements for new residential communities
Manages and directs all aspects of obtaining entitlements, plan approvals & permits
Responsible for executing upon stringent community entitlement and development/construction schedules
Coordinates and implements input from division executives regarding site and architectural design
Responsible for obtaining all required permits from local jurisdictions
Coordinates with architects, engineers, and other consultants
Assists in due diligence efforts for potential land acquisitions
Liaison between trade partners, consultants and agencies
Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum five (5) years of experience in community entitlement and homebuilding process
High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred, in the field of construction management, urban design, business, engineering or related course study or equivalent years of experience
Valid driver’s license
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Smart Sheet experience preferred
Excellent analytical and writing capabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently
Accept constructive feedback
Team player
