About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead UX strategy and execution on the company's hardest design problems
- Translate complex workflows into intuitive, accessible, and elegant experiences
- Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, and Data teams from concept to launch
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle
- Set design strategy and the appropriate level of risk for each bet
- Mentor and support other designers; help raise design quality across the team
- Define and maintain design systems and standards
- Conduct and leverage user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Communicate design vision and rationale clearly to stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in software product design
- Proven track record of leading design for complex, scalable digital products
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills
- Ability to think strategically while executing with attention to detail
- Ability to reason with broad technical concepts from the software engineering field
