About the role
- Conduct more complex data analysis and develop insights that support business objectives
- Create and maintain more advanced reports and dashboards for various stakeholders
- Work closely with business units to translate their needs into data-driven solutions
- Assist in developing data models to support predictive and prescriptive analytics
- Provide guidance and support to Data Analyst 1 in their daily tasks
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets and present findings to senior analysts
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data management and analysis
- Proficient in advanced data cleaning techniques and experience using tools like Python (pandas, NumPy) or R for complex data manipulation
- Ability to create interactive dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) and design complex visualizations
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application to real-world data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced coursework or certifications preferred
- 3+ years of related experience
- Ability to articulate data-driven insights clearly to a diverse audience
- Identifies issues in data and processes, proposing effective solutions
- Builds strong working relationships across teams and functions
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts on AWS Platform & Snowflake
- Upholds ethical standards and sets a positive example for junior team members
- Manages complex challenges with poise, maintaining focus under pressure
- Actively contributes to change initiatives and encourages innovation within the team
- Collaborates effectively with other departments to achieve shared goals
- Takes on leadership roles in projects, mentoring junior analysts and guiding team efforts
