About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and monitor delinquency, charge-offs, and non-performing assets
- Assist in preparation and management of the divisional budget
- Conduct full and follow-up supervisions on offices of responsibility according to company policies, procedures, and audit standards
- Assess risk in divisional branch operations through review and analysis of audit and management reports and information
- Ensure divisional compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
- Manage personnel activities, including recruitment, selection, evaluation, training, and development
- Administer the management training program
- Assist with acquisitions, including due diligence, employee evaluation, and conversion
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide support and leadership to Branch Managers within the Division
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service within the Division
- Provide Branch Managers with administrative support in compliance, regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in consumer finance business or related industry
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable education or related training
- Personnel management experience
- Budgeting and industry financial analysis experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively with managers and staff personnel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel a considerable amount of time
- Ability to communicate with executive-level management in a concise and professional manner
- Previous experience in a divisional management position in the consumer finance industry
- Industry educational achievements (preferred/desirable)
