About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and drive the strategy, execution, and growth of the origination funnel, particularly direct lending
Define the product roadmap and oversee delivery with the Engineering Team
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Credit, Data Science, Finance, and Operations teams
Design hypothesis-driven tests, measure outcomes, and iterate based on learnings
Use AI to build tools, automate manual workflows, and improve decision-making
Balance innovation with compliance and risk management in a fast-paced fintech environment
Partner with Design to keep customer needs central to product development
Work with third parties to ensure the product is best-in-market
Independently manage a product line and remain accountable for delivery and customer impact
Run engineering standups and planning sessions
Identify and resolve issues limiting product development
Break down complex business problems into bite-sized deliverables
Build stakeholder relationships and support product delivery
Apply software development life cycle knowledge across product processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of work experience as a Product Manager or similar role
Bias for action and ability to move fast, deliver, and iterate based on feedback
Proficiency using Python or SQL to query data and perform analysis
Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex
Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment preferred but not required
Experience working on mobile app products preferred but not required
Ability to independently manage a product line and be accountable for delivery and customer impact
Ability to run standups and planning sessions with engineering teams
Numerical analysis experience
Ability to communicate clearly and adjust communication to different audiences
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business areas
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Adaptability in an unstructured, fast-moving, high-growth environment
