About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join a cross-functional team tasked with delivering new features and technical refinements on the Unsecured Loans product
  • Build out new user journeys and optimise conversion rates in existing funnels
  • Answer questions with experiments and fast iteration
  • Maintain, refactor & improve codebase and tooling
  • Work at pace, contributing to wider engineering and business initiatives that help further scale products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years experience
  • Strong knowledge of modern Javascript with Typescript and React.js.
  • Commercial experience with the latest versions of NextJS.
  • Good understanding of the benefits of automated testing in software development, and take a pragmatic approach to implementing and improving the various phases of the testing pyramid
  • Able to identify and assess technical debt and are a vocal advocate for prioritising code improvements alongside feature work whenever the opportunity arises.
  • Solid understanding of the importance of catering to users with accessibility needs, and familiarity with the approaches and tooling required to ensure accessibility guidelines and best practices are adhered to.
  • Proactive in taking ownership over your work and collaborating with product, ensuring progress by proactively communicating blockers, seeking feedback, and driving tasks to completion.
  • Comfortable working with product owners to break down business requirements into deliverable tasks and estimate the complexity of their implementation.
