About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join a cross-functional team tasked with delivering new features and technical refinements on the Unsecured Loans product
- Build out new user journeys and optimise conversion rates in existing funnels
- Answer questions with experiments and fast iteration
- Maintain, refactor & improve codebase and tooling
- Work at pace, contributing to wider engineering and business initiatives that help further scale products
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience
- Strong knowledge of modern Javascript with Typescript and React.js.
- Commercial experience with the latest versions of NextJS.
- Good understanding of the benefits of automated testing in software development, and take a pragmatic approach to implementing and improving the various phases of the testing pyramid
- Able to identify and assess technical debt and are a vocal advocate for prioritising code improvements alongside feature work whenever the opportunity arises.
- Solid understanding of the importance of catering to users with accessibility needs, and familiarity with the approaches and tooling required to ensure accessibility guidelines and best practices are adhered to.
- Proactive in taking ownership over your work and collaborating with product, ensuring progress by proactively communicating blockers, seeking feedback, and driving tasks to completion.
- Comfortable working with product owners to break down business requirements into deliverable tasks and estimate the complexity of their implementation.
