About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own reconciliations, month-end close, and day-to-day accounting tasks
Identify gaps in financial processes and take ownership of fixing them
Look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
Work closely with the wider Finance team and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate reporting
Partner with finance, data, and business teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Newly qualified or up to 2 years post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent)
Solid understanding of core accounting processes including reconciliations, month-end close, and how financial data flows
Exposure to automation tools, AI, or workflow improvement is a plus, even personal experimentation counts
A consulting or Big Four background is welcome
