About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
  • Coordinate with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel to bring new equipment online at FAA facilities
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to technical and program inquiries
  • Assist with budget formulation using FAA government databases
  • Author required documents supporting program schedules
  • Work independently to achieve day-to-day program objectives
  • Update project schedules and provide input to FAA construction managers
  • Organize teleconferences and meetings to maintain project schedules and costs
  • Provide programmatic input to team members using client databases
  • Perform investigations and root cause analysis
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience, or additional relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with MS Project and Excel, including Macros
  • Prior experience supporting the FAA
  • Knowledge of FAA radar technology preferred
  • Technical background highly preferred
  • Lean/Six Sigma analysis skills preferred
  • Data analytics skills preferred
  • Data architecture knowledge preferred
  • Ability to create structure, define scope, and deliver results in open-ended situations
  • Agile problem-solving ability
  • Ability to maintain composure and productivity during high-stakes situations
  • Ability to navigate shifting priorities and undefined project scopes
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts with short turnaround times
  • Ability to adapt communication style to align different working approaches
