About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to achieve program goals and objectives
Ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
Coordinate with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel to bring new equipment online at FAA facilities
Provide timely and accurate responses to technical and program inquiries
Assist with budget formulation using FAA government databases
Author required documents supporting program schedules
Work independently to achieve day-to-day program objectives
Update project schedules and provide input to FAA construction managers
Organize teleconferences and meetings to maintain project schedules and costs
Provide programmatic input to team members using client databases
Perform investigations and root cause analysis
Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA or BS degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience, or additional relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree
Ability to work well with others
Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences
Proficiency with MS Project and Excel, including Macros
Prior experience supporting the FAA
Knowledge of FAA radar technology preferred
Technical background highly preferred
Lean/Six Sigma analysis skills preferred
Data analytics skills preferred
Data architecture knowledge preferred
Ability to create structure, define scope, and deliver results in open-ended situations
Agile problem-solving ability
Ability to maintain composure and productivity during high-stakes situations
Ability to navigate shifting priorities and undefined project scopes
Ability to manage multiple moving parts with short turnaround times
Ability to adapt communication style to align different working approaches
