About the role
- Design, implement and support enterprise-grade platforms that enable real-time interaction, email, messaging and user productivity, with a focus on scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate with team members over various areas of Infrastructure, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members.
- Lead project-based initiatives by assisting in the design, implementation, and managing solutions that meet project requirements.
- Ensure systems are compliant with internal and external regulatory requirements, proactively identifying and addressing gaps.
- Manage identity and access control ensuring appropriate user permissions and security best practices.
- Monitor and optimise the performance of collaboration tools to ensure high availability and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Resolution of incidents and requests within SLA.
- Support of Major Incidents.
- Develop Automation to streamline processes, drive efficiencies and enable shift-left strategies.
- Create, update and maintain high quality technical documentation and knowledge base articles for wider team use.
- Provide weekly activity reporting and operational metrics to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of M365 and related collaboration platforms
- Knowledge of email security, phishing validation and CSIRT processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems
- Understanding of Proofpoint and other security technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer focused service delivery with a commitment to continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
