About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct enterprise-level vendor risk assessments and technical security reviews for software suppliers and cloud providers
- Provide SCRM subject matter expertise throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Author Acquisition Security Reviews and evaluation matrices that integrate into the FAA Acquisition Management System
- Draft contract security language and risk acceptance recommendations
- Translate risk assessment data into Executive Decision Packages for senior leadership
- Develop and maintain FAA SCRM policies, governance documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and facilitate SCRM training
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Risk Management, Intelligence Studies, National Security, Logistics, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of professional experience as an Intelligence Analyst or professional experience in third-party risk management, Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management, technical risk assessments, cybersecurity risk management, or infrastructure defense
- Strong working knowledge of federal cybersecurity and risk management frameworks, specifically NIST SP 800-161 and NIST SP 800-53
- Hands-on experience evaluating the security posture, software supply chains, and configurations of at least three of the following technology profiles: Cloud infrastructure, Commercial software packages, AI platforms, Telecommunications hardware, Operational Technology
- Proven capability to translate complex technical vulnerabilities into clear reports and executive summaries
