About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform design reviews of civil/structural design components in support of bid/construction packages for substation projects
  • Function as a senior engineer leading projects
  • Perform design reviews and develop junior staff members
  • Conduct site-visits to client substation facilities and occasional travel for client meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, or Masters (MS) with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • PE License required
  • SE licensure is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software
  • Experience with STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA 3D, FAD, SAG10, and LPile software
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation required
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills
  • Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff
