About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop robust C++, C#, and Python software under the direction of a senior software engineer.
- Assist with creating and executing unit and integration tests on software components.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Use GitLab software pipeline for performing configuration management and automated testing.
- Direct communication with customers, end users, and team members will be required on a frequent basis.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- 4-8 years of relevant technical experience or 2+ years with MS degree.
- Proven track record of implementing software development principles.
- Strong competency in software development in C++ and/or C#.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with unit test frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
