About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop robust C++, C#, and Python software under the direction of a senior software engineer.
Assist with creating and executing unit and integration tests on software components.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely manner.
Use GitLab software pipeline for performing configuration management and automated testing.
Direct communication with customers, end users, and team members will be required on a frequent basis.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
4-8 years of relevant technical experience or 2+ years with MS degree.
Proven track record of implementing software development principles.
Strong competency in software development in C++ and/or C#.
Experience writing unit and integration tests with unit test frameworks.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Good communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
