About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for financial planning, analysis, forecasting, tracking, and reporting across programs supporting the Public Infrastructure portfolio and the Department of State
- lead all aspects of program financial management, including the monthly close process, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting, and financial reporting
- drive key financial initiatives from planning through execution
- significant interface with the Program Operation Managers, Contracts, FP&A, and other Support organizations
- implement financial policies and procedures in support of the program
- establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines, develop WBS and related dictionaries, develop schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs), budgets, and assist in new business proposals providing input and cost volumes to management
- provide data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program financial reviews
- prepare written and verbal reports to senior leadership regarding cost schedule variances
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in program finance control or operations finance
- At least 2 years of prior experience as a team lead / finance manager
- Defense contract industry experience with extensive knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts
- Strong analytical, communication and presentations skills
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
