About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all the construction managers and construction activities for the program at all ASC stations.
Coordinate site support with other ASC functional areas, Operations, and subcontractors as needed in the project planning stages.
Oversee execution of subcontracted construction activities to ensure delivery of those scopes of work in compliance with specifications, schedules, quality, and other project requirements.
Supervise ASC construction staff of Construction Managers and ensure they are trained and following process and procedures.
Interface directly with project managers to coordinate field schedules, resolve issues, and lead/support negotiations for change orders.
Collaborate in the development and review of upcoming construction efforts.
Ensure subcontractors perform according to design, safety, and quality aspects called out in the construction execution plans and contracts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years of relevant experience is required.
6+ years of construction supervision experience.
Experience executing construction projects in remote and logistically challenging locations.
Experience managing field crews and coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
Experience supervising trades employees, project construction schedule development, and project cost estimating/validation is required.
Experience managing field changes, quality control inspections, final punch lists, progress reporting, and other activities supporting final completion.
At least 5 years’ experience in procurement and subcontracts management to include: various contracting types, negotiations, development of SOW’s, RFI’s, and RFP’s, and selection of vendors.
