About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop detailed maintenance schedules based on equipment needs, workload, and priorities to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks
  • Partnering with the facilities engineer and leadership, create and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures and downtime
  • Provide input to facilities engineering and leadership on maintenance activities
  • Oversee the inventory of repair parts and tools, ensuring that necessary supplies are ordered and available when needed
  • Work closely with maintenance staff and other departments to ensure that all necessary resources, such as tools and spare parts, are available for maintenance activities
  • Manage tasking and bills of materials to the facilities leadership team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of experience in leadership, maintenance planning or a similar role
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of maintenance processes, equipment, and safety regulations
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, prioritize, and schedule tasks efficiently to maximize reliability
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading teams to the successful completion of specific maintenance objectives
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • GED or more advanced education in technical associates degree, college degree or Journeyman or Master Trade License.
