About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop detailed maintenance schedules based on equipment needs, workload, and priorities to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks
Partnering with the facilities engineer and leadership, create and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures and downtime
Provide input to facilities engineering and leadership on maintenance activities
Oversee the inventory of repair parts and tools, ensuring that necessary supplies are ordered and available when needed
Work closely with maintenance staff and other departments to ensure that all necessary resources, such as tools and spare parts, are available for maintenance activities
Manage tasking and bills of materials to the facilities leadership team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience in leadership, maintenance planning or a similar role
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of maintenance processes, equipment, and safety regulations
Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, prioritize, and schedule tasks efficiently to maximize reliability
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading teams to the successful completion of specific maintenance objectives
Computer Skills: Proficient with use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
GED or more advanced education in technical associates degree, college degree or Journeyman or Master Trade License.
