About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate, diagnose and treat psychological, behavioral and mental health issues related to families, couples or marriages
- Provide guidance and mediation to help address issues within a family unit
- Address problems independently and autonomously, formulate and implement a treatment plan using treatment modalities for individuals and families, including documenting and briefing clinical findings
- Provide evidence-based brief psychotherapy, and consult with management and other medical staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or social work
- Completion of 2,000 to 4,000 supervised clinical hours, typically acquired through a practicum or internship
- State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- 3 years of post-licensure/certification experience
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) experience
- US Citizenship required
- Top Secret with SCI polygraph clearance OR candidates that are willing to go through the process of obtaining the clearance may be considered
