About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the customer engagement management strategy and engage senior company executives in contact activity
- Personally engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their challenges, constraints and desired outcomes
- Lead the development of winning strategies that differentiate us, are competitively focused and are compelling to the client
- Assemble a high performing Capture team that brings relevant expertise and capabilities
- Deliver clear and inspired leadership to assure execution of winning capture strategy
- Work with the Bid Manager to develop a high-quality proposal
- Lead internal stakeholder management through stages of deal governance
- Lead post-submission activities and support the programme team ensuring smooth handover to operational delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience securing new business in the UK public sector – National and Devolved Government, National Security and Defence sectors
- Ability to sell multi-discipline IT and system integration solutions
- Strong understanding of sales and capture strategy
- Demonstrable business development and sales capture leadership, shaping and executing business winning strategies
- Experience in Capture / Pursuit leadership in a dynamic business winning environment
- Exceptional leadership, relationship management, and communication skills
- Proven effective in working across organisational boundaries
- Sound commercial acumen and ability to define Leidos value proposition with compelling business case
- UK Security Clearance is required
