About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform design of civil/structural components in support of the development of bid/construction packages for substation projects
Contribute directly to projects, performing design calculations, and providing detail markups
Conduct site-visits to client substation facilities
Occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
Engineer with 2 plus years of directly applicable experience
PE License (preferred or near completion)
Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Mathcad software, required
Experience with RISA 3-D, STAAD.Pro, FAD, SAFE, SAG10, and LPILE software, required
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation, required
Strong analytical and technical writing skills
Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff
