About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain systems engineering training materials and curricula
  • Create instructor-led training (ILT), virtual training, eLearning modules, simulations, workshops, and job aids
  • Develop competency-based learning paths for engineering personnel across multiple experience levels
  • Develop SLE/FAST training courses in a modular format, ensuring each module addresses a single topic or closely related set of topics
  • Up-level existing training courses to incorporate government-defined software and program enhancements
  • Analyze ERAM software and hardware updates to determine training impacts and required content revisions
  • Update and deliver all SLE/FAST course materials with each ERAM software release when enhancements, functional changes, or corrections affect training content
  • Ensure training materials remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with operational use across different field configurations
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to validate content updates and support timely training delivery
  • Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting training content, delivery strategies, and development priorities in response to evolving ERAM releases, schedule shifts, and field implementation differences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree in related field and 2 – 4 years of prior experience or Masters with 1 – 2 years of prior experience
  • Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle methodologies and standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidates must have, or be able to obtain, a Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer
  • Due to contract requirements, the positions requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Prior experience with the FAA Customer
