About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Seeking a Substation Senior Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience within the utility industry
- Performing design reviews of civil/structural design components in support of substation projects
- Leading projects as a senior engineer while developing junior staff members
- Conducting site-visits to client substation facilities
- Complying with quality control and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Masters (MS) with 3+ years of relevant experience
- PE License Preferred in California, Washington, Oregon OR the ability to obtain licensure in these states within 3-12 months
- SE licensure is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software, required
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA 3D, FAD, SAG10, and LPile software, required
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation required
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
