About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- direct design of civil/structural design components for substation projects
- perform design calculations
- develop construction-grade engineering design drawings
- conduct site visits to client substation facilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering and 2+ years of experience or Masters (MS) with 1+ years of relevant experience
- EIT Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Mathcad software
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA 3D, FAD, SAFE, SAG10, and LPile software, (preferred)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation software preferred
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff
