About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Works with the assigned Attorney Advisors and/or supervisory attorneys
  • Assesses, analyzes, and prepares written work products characterized by sound definitions of legal issues
  • Assists with reviewing, supporting, and implementing policy and guidelines
  • Analyses various legislative and regulatory initiatives
  • Develops an understanding of applicable laws
  • Alerts Attorney Advisors to potential issues
  • Oversees practice regarding various program areas including immigration and fraud
  • Supports Attorney Advisors by briefing pertinent facts and drafting legal documents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires Law degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least two years of study
  • 2+ years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects or task order related projects
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Specific immigration litigation work experience is beneficial
  • License by a state bar
  • Physically located within the general geographic commuting radius of EOUSA or a USAO office
  • Current or active clearance
