About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Providing support to the PMO including administrative support, data analysis/reporting, and new initiatives.
  • Manage small purchases for PMO team as a Purchasing Card (PCard) holder.
  • Support larger purchases for PMO team with requests and approvals.
  • Perform onboarding administrative tasks such as ordering hardware, phones, corporate cards, etc.
  • Support internal PM Office-wide projects and initiatives as well as longer-term implementation.
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Evaluate program budgetary controls and financial management processes.
  • Support customer or management inquiries, business data consolidation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Coordinate customer visits and meetings supporting TSA or CBP programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s in a relevant field (Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Engineering, etc.)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of related experience or 0-2 years of experience with a Masters.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with internal and external customers.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications and considered an intermediate to advanced user in at least 1 business tool (MS Excel, Project, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to accurately summarize data into actionable options and recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology
  • Working knowledge of financial concepts and measurements to program management e.g., ROI, earned value management, net present value etc.
  • Security Requirement: This position may involve support that will require vetting by US Department of Homeland Security and may require a secret security clearance. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and resident of the U.S.
