About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze internal and external client needs and construct sound, logical business improvement opportunities.
  • Provide group facilitation, training, and provide additional forms of knowledge transfer across client’s organization.
  • Collect, review, edit, and disseminate executive-level communication products.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and engineers.
  • Support large scale IT systems, identifying dependencies and interoperability.
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree and minimum 12+ years of experience OR 15 yrs+ experience can be used in lieu of degree.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and successful software engineering experience; or if no degree, relevant experience performing engineering functions in the field on programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Experience in IP Related Services: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, and SIP.
  • Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience with UPS systems and AD/DC power systems, to include design or install/connection.
  • Working knowledge of CAT5, CAT6 cable, connectors, and demonstrated capability of fabrication of equipment.
  • Knowledge of fiber, servers, routers, edge switches and desktop hardware.
  • JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, VISIO, and MS Office.
