About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn the basics of purchasing in a federal government approved purchasing system
- Attend meetings with stakeholders to identify supply chain sources
- Attend meetings with key stakeholders to identify supply chain sources to diversify supplier portfolio
- Work with team to develop implementation plan for presentation to senior management
- Execute implementation plan to extent feasible during summer timeline
- Make follow-on recommendations for long term sourcing success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working towards bachelor’s degree relating to Supply Chain, Sourcing, Analytics, Logistics, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficient in written and oral communication
- Ability to work in a group environment
- U.S. Citizenship is required
