About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support project teams in completing engineering design for electric infrastructure projects (both public-owned and investor-owned utilities)
  • Manage overall project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and reporting
  • Develop and implement recovery plans to maintain compliance with approved budgets and timelines
  • Ensure full contract compliance and adherence to client requirements
  • Drive deliverables by coordinating with Engineering Leads, Managers, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain and document compliance with established quality control processes
  • Serve as the primary interface with clients and internal management to resolve issues, track progress, and report costs, schedule adherence, and risks across programs
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, functional leaders, and support personnel
  • Contribute to bid preparation, cost estimates, and RFP responses
  • Manage monthly invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribed deadlines
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and pursue business development opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience
  • Proficiency with project management software (Workfront, MS Project, P6, or similar)
  • Strong MS Office skills; advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc)
  • Proven experience managing project financials, scopes, and schedules
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts across multiple tasks
  • Strong understanding of project financial planning, monitoring, and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
