About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a nationally significant and fast-paced cryptographic key management program.
- Perform software development activities as a member of an agile development team.
- Development includes turning agile stories into implementable concepts, through development, testing, and deployment of new capabilities.
- Implement robust testing leveraging DEVOPS automation and test automation tools.
- Analyze and resolve highly complex software issues related to multiple aspects of the system.
- Collaborate with other experts within the program and user community to design, develop, and debug existing software, and to develop enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership for software development activities as a member of an agile team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a Masters degree with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must have demonstrated development experience with Java.
- Specific experience with one or more of the following: Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, WADL.
- Experience with User Interface development, knowledge of databases and structures, and/or experience working with XHTML, HTML, XML, XSLT
- Experience developing on Windows, and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Java, Python, PERL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins on a Windows platforms.
- Must have a strong understanding of sound software development principles and practices.
- Must be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be an independent thinker, capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment.
- Must have possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
