About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, analysis and design of electrical systems, components and circuits.
- Solving technical problems by developing solutions and processes.
- Creating/Updating CAD electrical diagrams, performing simulations, collecting data and documenting technical procedures for research projects.
- Conduct schematic analysis, layout reviews, and circuit design/redesign.
- Use CAD and other software for simulation development and execution.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to design reviews, and work with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or directly related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Security clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
- Willing and able to relocate to Reston, Virginia, if needed.
- Foundational knowledge in circuit analysis.
- Proficiency in simulation software (MATLAB, etc).
- Basic computer programming skills (Python, C/C++, etc).
