About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engineer, administer, and maintain enterprise‑scale MECM solutions.
Deliver endpoint configuration management outcomes including application deployment, operating system deployment, patch management, and compliance enforcement.
Develop, test, and maintain application packages, task sequences, collections, deployment workflows, driver repositories, and build standards.
Manage Windows endpoint patching.
Configure and sustain Software Update Points (SUPs), Automatic Deployment Rules (ADRs), maintenance windows, configuration baselines, compliance controls, and remediation actions.
Perform technical investigation and resolution of MECM-related issues.
Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, engineering artefacts, and standard operating procedures.
Develop and maintain PowerShell-based automation for deployment, monitoring, and reporting.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, security teams, and service operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft MECM in Defence or large-enterprise environments.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows client operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Experience delivering patching and compliance outcomes in regulated environments.
Experience with application packaging and deployment technologies including MSI, MSIX, and scripted installers.
Working-level PowerShell scripting capability.
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum NV-1 level security clearance and be willing to uplift to NV-2.
