About the role

  • Supports systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, and requirements allocation for complex cloud and hybrid environments
  • Supports security best practices, including identity and access management, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance controls
  • Support system integration, verification, validation, testing, and quality assurance activities across multiple technical domains
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution across teams and provide written reports as requested by the government customer
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational procedures, e.g. develop and SOP
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and external partners or vendors to deliver integrated solutions
  • Supports Data Transport On-Call and Maintenance schedule as directed by program management
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and design review support to junior and mid-level engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must have 1 year of prior experience supporting development of the Data Transport IL4/5/6 environments
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II)
  • Expert-level experience supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application architectures
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security concepts
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Apache NiFi)
