About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with protection engineers and perform quality reviews on relay setting packages
Create logic diagrams for IEC61850 substations
Work directly with clients and remote office locations
Support a full range of project planning activities through design and construction support
Prepare relay settings from 4.16kV through 500kV including relay set points, logic diagrams, configuration files, and documentation
Solve challenging substation engineering problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
Internship experience (for Associate Level)
Three plus years of related experience (for Intermediate Level)
Experience creating relay settings and logic diagrams
Capable of understanding Aspen OneLiner and/or Siemen’s CAPE
Experience with protective relay coordination studies
Familiarity with Schweitzer AcSELerator QuickSet, General Electric EnerVista, and Schneider Electric MiCOM software is a plus
EIT/PE License is favorable
