About the role

  • Supports systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, and requirements allocation for complex cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Supports security best practices, including identity and access management, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
  • Support system integration, verification, validation, testing, and quality assurance activities across multiple technical domains.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution across teams and provide written reports as requested by the government customer.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational procedures, e.g. develop and SOP.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and external partners or vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Supports Data Transport On-Call and Maintenance schedule as directed by program management.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and design review support to junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree less than 2 years of relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have 1 year of prior experience supporting development of the Data Transport IL4/5/6 environments.
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II).
  • Expert-level experience supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security concepts.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Apache NiFi).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
