Uses Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools to design, develop, and maintain enterprise system designs at the component and sub-component level
Lead systems engineering lifecycle activities including requirements decomposition, interface definition, architecture alignment, and verification/validation planning.
Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation including architecture diagrams, interface control documents, and technical standards.
Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, STIGs, and Zero Trust architecture requirements.
Identify and resolve system integration challenges impacting performance, scalability, and interoperability.

Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline and 8–12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 6–10 years of relevant experience
At least one of the following foundational qualification pathways consistent with DoD 8140 requirements: Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification appropriate for Intermediate System Administrator roles (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent )
Minimum 8 years of systems engineering experience supporting complex DoD or enterprise-scale platforms.
Demonstrated expertise applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles in large, distributed systems.
Proven experience developing and maintaining system artifacts using Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) or equivalent SysML-based modeling tools.
Experience performing systems engineering activities in DoD or Federal enterprise environments.
