About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to offensive cyber research initiatives.
Develop and maintain offensive security tools.
Support reverse engineering tasks across binaries, firmware, and hardware‑adjacent systems.
Assist in designing and evaluating evasion‑resistant payloads.
Prototype automation and AI‑driven approaches for reconnaissance.
Analyze adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Collaborate with other engineers and mission teams.
Document research findings and prototype behaviors.
Participate in internal red‑team exercises and capability evaluations.
Stay current with emerging offensive techniques.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
Experience with reverse engineering fundamentals.
Hands‑on experience with red‑team operations.
Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or FPGA‑based development.
Understanding of networking fundamentals and security vulnerabilities.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
US citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
