About the role
- Support the Service Center Monthly Variance Report and planning processes
- Support AI/automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads
- Perform internal audit self-assessments
- Support external audits by retrieving various documentation
- Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations, internal controls, and policies and procedures
- Other duties, as assigned
- Opportunity to gain exposure to multiple functional areas and in-depth insights into the corporate financial structure and regulatory matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of finance or audit related experience
- Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivots, vlookup, sumif, and concatenate functions
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Working knowledge of Government Contracting
- Well-developed analytical and research abilities
- Strong and effective communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Able to work as part of a team and effectively interact with colleagues and Company employees across all functions and levels
- Preferred: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related major is preferable
- Preferred: Knowledge of Leidos systems, policies, and procedures
- Preferred: Experience with Costpoint, Deltek, Cognos, Workday, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Power BI.
