About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Be part of a DevOps team transforming, supporting and maintaining a system of critical national infrastructure to public cloud adhering to engineering best practices
  • Work closely with team members and the broader programme to transition legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud
  • Support other team members where required and interact closely with developers and testers
  • Lead the transitioning of legacy platforms to AWS
  • Implement innovative design and testing of systems and services with focus on scalability and sustainability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing solutions using: AWS with Linux technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment
  • Experience of applying security to all workloads
  • Experience of working with CI/CD infrastructure pipelines
  • Demonstrable experience of automating deployment and configuration pipelines of COTS software and promoting through multiple environments
  • Experience of working Agile teams being aware of Agile methodologies (using Scrum or Kanban)
  • Candidate must be a UK National
  • Must be able to obtain an SC level clearance
