Be part of a DevOps team transforming, supporting and maintaining a system of critical national infrastructure to public cloud adhering to engineering best practices
Work closely with team members and the broader programme to transition legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud
Support other team members where required and interact closely with developers and testers
Lead the transitioning of legacy platforms to AWS
Implement innovative design and testing of systems and services with focus on scalability and sustainability

Requirements

Demonstrable experience of implementing solutions using: AWS with Linux technologies
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
Demonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment
Experience of applying security to all workloads
Experience of working with CI/CD infrastructure pipelines
Demonstrable experience of automating deployment and configuration pipelines of COTS software and promoting through multiple environments
Experience of working Agile teams being aware of Agile methodologies (using Scrum or Kanban)
Candidate must be a UK National
Must be able to obtain an SC level clearance
