About the role
- Contribute to system architecture design, requirements development, integration planning, and configuration management
- Provide engineering expertise across the full system lifecycle—from concept and design through deployment and sustainment
- Collaborate with Customer and contractor stakeholders to ensure interoperability, scalability, and mission alignment
- Assess and recommend tools, methodologies, and processes to enhance system development and integration
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs) and engineering reports
- Participate in technical reviews, readiness assessments, and milestone events
- Analyze system performance and propose optimization strategies
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship (required by contract)
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2–6 years of experience
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, integration and test, and configuration control
- Familiarity with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies (e.g., Cameo, SysML)
- Experience working within DoD or Intelligence Community environments
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
