About the role
- report to the Marine Engineering Department Manager
- responsible for career development and oversight of 8 - 12 employees
- assist in maintaining a properly staffed and trained organization
- provide overall technical leadership in management, processes, and quality assurance
Requirements
- minimum of 8 years' experience in Naval or Marine Engineering
- at least 4 years of experience in a management role
- experience at a US Navy-oriented marine engineering service's company is desired
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or marine engineering or related engineering discipline
- a professional engineering certification is desired
