About the role
- Lead and manage high-impact IT projects from initiation to closure
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans
- Oversee project teams, including technical staff and other contributors
- Develop and execute effective strategies to engage key stakeholders
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Monitor and report on project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Conform to and continuously evaluate project management processes and methodologies
- Manage project budgets
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field coupled with minimum of 8 years' experience in IT project management
- Master's degree and 6+; Associate's degree and 10+, or equivalent years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large, cross-functional teams and driving project success.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading IT projects in one or more of the following areas; infrastructure & operations, application modernization, or cyber security.
