Provide technical support to the Infrastructure Engineering Center for accomplishment of project engineering packages.
Develop site specific project plans and specifications for solicitation and contracting of engineering projects for FAA approval and acceptance.
Perform site surveys to collect site-specific project data and research all standards, construction codes and ordinances.
Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions to issues identified during the site survey.
Prepare summary trip reports within two working days of trip completion.
Compile and complete project documents such as scope of work and project transmittal, drawing and specification lists, operational risk management checklists, and drawings and specifications.
Provide technical engineering support for all phases of assigned new construction and renovation projects.
Participate in Joint Acceptance Inspections (JAI) and Contractor Acceptance Inspections (CAI) on all assigned projects and provide recommended resolutions on all items relating to engineering.
Perform engineering studies for feasibility and cost versus benefit.

Requirements

Electrical Engineering Degree required from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) with at least 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Engineer and/or Resident Engineer with Electrical Engineering Design and experience with establishing power systems and calculating equipment size requirements.
Knowledge of Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facilities.
Proficiency in AUTOCAD Software.
Proficiency in creating and developing Arc flash Analysis.
Proficiency in SKM Software.
Experience inspecting electrical systems.
Ability to travel up to 25-35% of the time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability.
