About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages the implementation and maintenance of the semi-automated systems and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency of Cross Domain Solutions.
  • Manages processing services delivered over the internet; this includes understanding cloud architecture, security controls, and risk.
  • Manages the cybersecurity policies, best practices, controls, and technologies used to secure applications, data, and infrastructure in cloud environments.
  • Ensures the protection of digital information and minimizes risk from unauthorized access, modification, and use.
  • Manages the framework for integrating security measures and controls into the design and implementation of a software solution.
  • Optimize system availability, performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed cloud environments.
  • Implement and oversee security best practices, including identity and access management, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
  • Support system integration, verification, validation, testing, and quality assurance activities across multiple technical domains.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution across teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and external partners or vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance in support of improved security posture, programs and initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II).
  • Expert-level experience designing and supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security concepts.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Apache NiFi).
