About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist Email Operations Administrators with the daily support and administration of Exchange Online M365 GCC-High cloud environment
- Review system logs and dashboards proactively to help identify/troubleshoot issues
- Familiarize yourself with Splunk and assist team with improving/optimizing team dashboards
- Assist with operational patching procedures
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement regarding Email Operations support and best practices
- Review Email Operations documentation and assist with updates, as needed
- Assist with development of PowerShell scripts that improve efficiency through automation
- Generate Summaries/Reports and assist with Email and Teams related trouble ticket resolution
- Assist team members with various projects and tasks on an as-needed basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- US citizenship required
- Coursework or technical certification related to Information Technology
- Strong interest in or exposure to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange and/or Microsoft Teams
- Strong soft skills in organization, communications and teamwork
- Interest in supporting IT Service Delivery in a large-scale Enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with US Government IT Security principles such as NIST, CUI CDI, ITAR, FedRamp, GCC-High
- Some understanding/knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with Outlook/Teams client functionality and usage
