About the role
- Manage the planning and execution of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Support the development and tracking of project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, and risk, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams, engineering leads, subcontractors, and support personnel to ensure successful project delivery.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client interactions and project communications.
- Assist in preparing project reports, status updates, and performance metrics for internal and client stakeholders.
- Support contract administration activities, including tracking deliverables, managing change requests, and maintaining documentation.
- Identify project risks and support the development and execution of mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to proposal development, including input to cost estimates and technical documentation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Support invoicing, accruals, and basic financial tracking for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with senior project managers and leadership on project planning and execution strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Five to eight years of project management experience in the electric power industry or four to six years with an Electrical Engineering degree.
- Experience supporting electric utility, infrastructure, or EPC-related projects.
- Working knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost control, and risk management.
- Familiarity with contract and change management processes.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, P6) and Microsoft 365.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work with technical teams and clients.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally (~20–30%) as needed.
