About the role
- Develop and manage support system requirements for maritime platforms, ensuring alignment with operational, safety, and sustainment needs.
- Contribute to the transition from requirements development to support system design, working closely with engineering and project teams.
- Support the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project, ensuring supportability considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle.
- Assist in the development of safety-critical operational procedures and sustainment strategies to support long-term platform operation.
Requirements
- Experience in systems engineering or support system engineering, ideally within maritime, defence, or complex engineering environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering, safety engineering, or infrastructure operations and sustainment (highly regarded).
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.
- This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a baseline security clearance and willing to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
