About the role
- Deliver monthly variance analysis and financial reporting across a range of programs and projects.
- Support budget compilation and review by bringing together actual performance and prior budget figures.
- Coordinate end-to-end cost analysis, including cost allocation, establishing cost control systems, collecting and validating data, managing costs and preparing reports to maintain the Company’s cost accounting system.
- Oversee the administration and reporting of overhead budgets, charge codes and cost allocation.
- Work closely with the business on indirect cost rates and compliance with Cost Principles, and partner with delivery and operations teams to provide practical financial guidance that supports organisational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- 2–3 years’ finance experience in a project-based environment (budget development, financial control, forecasting, variance analysis and business partnering).
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity in systems such as CostPoint (or similar) and OAC/OBI.
- Australian Citizen and willing to obtain a Baseline or greater security clearance.
